Bryce Canyon National Park
Outdoor enthusiasts and those looking to get away from the everyday should definitely check out Bryce Canyon National Park. These canyons have a very rich history and serve as a home to many endangered species, as well as breathtaking rock formations due to erosion and rainwater dissolving over a long period of time. A visit here can be both a very rewarding educational experience as well as a chance to see the beauty of nature at its finest.
The park offers a museum that displays information on local culture, wildlife, plants, and the history of the canyon. You can take hikes around the park, and if you're lucky enough you may see an endangered species like the California condor or the Utah prairie dog. Colorful limestone rock in unique shapes, and a labyrinth of formations cover the landscape of the park. The air here is exceptionally fresh, making it perfect for walks and hikes, or just to get away from the usual.
For those who enjoy photography, it doesn't get any better than this. The panoramic views here are amazing. If you have time to spend a day or more here, you will be able to capture beautiful images from sunrise to sunset. Remember to bring a jacket because it can get pretty cold here at any time of the year. The park has lodging both inside and outside of the park, and there are two campgrounds as well that can accommodate regular vehicles and RVs. Be sure to do as much research as you can before you visit so you can ensure a worry-free and enjoyable stay.
