Canyonlands National Park offers many activities. For those who want a more guided experience of the park, there are tours available to you. The tours are located in Moab, which is about thirty miles from the Island in the Sky district. There are no tours directly within the park. There are plenty of options in Moab, from 4x4 off-road tours, to ATV, jet boats, and whitewater rafting. There are also tours that take you sightseeing.
Some people prefer a casual drive along a scenic route, and others would enjoy a plunge down a roaring river. The tours are mostly small, generally for about eight people, or more if your party is larger. Tour packages can last from a few hours to one day to about a week or more. If you aren't driving directly to Canyonlands National Park, there are also busses that take you to Utah from some locations such as Las Vegas. Some tour packages take you to Canyonlands as well as nearby locations such as Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon.
